How to Style These Work Capsule Wardrobe Pieces
To show you that these office outfits really do work for a number of occasions, I put together some styling ideas using the capsule wardrobe for work pieces above. Which one is your favorite? The last one speaks to me the most!
Day at the Office
For a typical day at the office, this work outfit is a staple. A basic blouse paired with quality work pants is a recipe for success no matter what’s on your agenda for the day. The black mules and tote bag are simple yet practical and the headband kicks the outfit up a notch.
Business Meeting
A solid black top paired with stylish pants screams all business. The knitted cardigan is a great addition to add if the meeting is more casual but can be swapped out for a blazer if that’s more fitting.
Happy Hour
From work to happy hour, these pieces from the capsule wardrobe work wonders. If jeans aren’t the vibe for your work place, just switch it for a work pant option and you still look like a million bucks. If you can wear jeans, the block heels and gold jewelry really dress the outfit up just enough.
Casual Friday
(Sigh***) Probably the best day of the work week, casual Friday. A camel sweater looks amazing with a basic work pant, but still looks chic styled with jeans for a more casual look. The loafers add a touch of business to the look while still keeping it comfortable.
Business Presentation
When you have to look your business best, a pencil skirt and blouse does the trick. Keeping the look minimal with basic hoop earrings and a block heel will keep everyone focused on your presentation and not on what you’re wearing. Though, this outfit is so cute that may not be possible. 😉
Lunch & Learn
Lunch & Learns are always fun (especially if the lunch is provided for you hahah). This professional work outfit keeps things business savvy but fashion forward at the same time. Talk about a win-win!
